Malaga is located south of Wenatchee along the Columbia River in Chelan County. Named after a wine grape grown in Malaga, Spain. Originally an Indian trail, and still unimproved, the Colockum Pass leads to Ellensburg from Malaga. Many orchards and farms remain in the area. Malaga sits below the towering Jump Off Ridge.
