County Seat for Douglas County. The Town of Waterville is centrally located with Badger Mountain to the south, the Columbia River to the west, the Cascade Mountains to the northwest and the many lakes of Moses Coulee to the east. You will find Wheat fields all around the area. The Town is located on U.S. Highway 2, situated atop the Waterville Plateau at an elevation of 2,622 feet. The population as of 2005 is 1,170 people. Waterville is a historic, friendly community.
